Signs Revisited

Spotted on Chincoteague Island, Virginia.

There are 3 things wrong with this sign:

  1. They don't mention whether the quality is of the "high" or "low" variety. (Hint: It wasn't the former.)

  2. They weren't very hospitable.

  3. Should be trivial and obvious to the casual observer.

I had to blow up the picture to see the ampersand because at normal size the data are very small.

Mike - Shouldn't that be "the data IS very small"? :-)

Again with the smileys.

You fell for it?
I feel a "song" coming on! LOL

fiona - I didn't think they could print it if it wasn't true!

Ah, the Paradox of the Eastern Shore. And before the ponies swim, too! Please stop by for Sx3 today...we've got quite a Fish Tale goin' on!

#3 was absolutely obvious. But trivial? It's irrelevant in terms of whether the sheets are clean. But it probably speaks volumes about whether they type your info in correctly and get your bill right.

f.B - The bill came to $7,348.80. Do you think that might have been incorrect?

CHINCOTEAGUE!!!

Sorry, all I can think of is those books I adored as a child... Misty of Chincoteague!

LiLu - Yes, and based on how proud they are of those books, they must be the very last thing of any import ever to come out of there.
